What does "Verified by ClassRadar" mean?

Documents checked by ClassRadar (GST/Udyam or photo ID). This is not a guarantee of class quality.

The badge is optional and free: a class applies on its Partner dashboard (Get Verified) and the ClassRadar team checks its basic details. The month on the badge is when we last checked. Here is exactly what we check:

1. Registration and ID. Institutes: their GSTIN or Udyam registration, looked up on the government website, and the owner's masked Aadhaar. Individual coaches: a masked Aadhaar (or, when our team helps, a PAN card, driving licence or voter ID).
2. Staff. Institutes give us a list of the people who teach or work with learners (name, role and subject). It stays private.
3. Name matches. The name on the registration or ID matches the class or its owner.
4. Owner's phone. The owner's WhatsApp number works and belongs to the class. When the owner logs in from that WhatsApp number, that counts.
5. Location. The address is real and the class runs there. Not needed for classes that are only online.
6. Photos. The photos on the page are the class's own, not copied from somewhere else.
7. Course facts. Fees, batches and timings shown on the page were confirmed with the class on a phone call.
8. Not a duplicate. The class doesn't have another page on ClassRadar.
9. Consent. The owner agreed to be listed on ClassRadar.

What it doesn't mean

• We don't check teachers' qualifications, results, teaching quality or whether the fees are fair.
• It is not a promise about the class. Read the verified learner reviews and ask the class your questions before you join.
• It never changes the ranking. Classes are ranked only by verified learner reviews, and nobody can pay for the badge.

Checked every year

We check again every 12 months. If the yearly check isn't done within 30 days of its due date, the badge comes off by itself. We also remove it if something we checked is no longer true.

The class's documents

Registration documents and photo IDs are kept in private storage that only ClassRadar admins can open, and are deleted 30 days after we decide. For Aadhaar we accept only a masked Aadhaar and never keep the full number. We keep only the type of ID, its last 4 characters (or the GSTIN or Udyam number), the private staff list, who checked it and the date. More in our Privacy policy.
